Giuncarico

Giuncarico is located on a sunny hill which overlooks the plains of Tuscan Maremma.

It is a medieval town, which has been very well conserved and its historic importance is emphasized by several monuments and by its favorable geographic position.

Both Italian and foreign tourists are attracted by Giuncarico in every period of the year. It’s only 20 minutes driving to the seaside, and the basic services are available in town: a grocery store, a butchery, two bars, a tobacco shop, a real estate agency, a restaurant, a household shop and a post office.

Furthermore Giuncarico boasts a public open air swimming pool, which is particularly refreshing in summer.

Because of its location at approx. 200m above sea level the town has a very mild climate with average temperatures of max 30° and min 17° in July and August and max 12° and min 3° in winter.
